1. Students can receive homework assignments.  Once opted-in, a text message appears on the parent's phone and contains a brief description of the homework assignment.  Since the information is on the parent's phone, the parent can plan accordingly in assisting their child with assignments, whether it's picking up supplies or helping the student manage their time for assignment completion.  Having this information immediately in their hands is more convenient for busy parents on the go.  If the assignment is long term, reminders can be sent as well.  Different keywords can be used for each teacher to keep classes and assignment separate.
